Description and Applications:
Educational young childrens' toy to encourage investigation of flora. A child can catch, observe, learn about, and trace various flowers, helping to develop their writing, sketching, and motor skills in a fun and healthy manner. Once a flower has been caught the child can observe it through Busy Bee's nose, which is a magnifying glass. Observations are recorded in the Flower Catchers Diary.
The toy comes with clear acetate discs which can be attached onto the nose, the child can then trace the flower with a marker. A collection of flower drawings can be displayed in the diary.
The diary has a strap so it can be carried around while outside. The diary is used to find out the names of flowers and to record findings such as colours and number of petals. It also contains games and tasks for older children.
